Implementasi Prinsip Ekonomi Syariah Dalam Usaha Frozen Food di Pasar Tradisional (Studi Kualitatif di Kota Sukabumi)
Goal: This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic economic principles
in frozen food businesses in traditional markets in Sukabumi City. The principles
examined include justice, halal (permissible), blessings, and welfare.
Method: The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method,
where data were obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and
documentation of frozen food vendors. Data analysis was conducted using data
reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques.
Fact/Finding: The results indicate that most vendors have attempted to implement
Islamic economic principles, such as maintaining price transparency, avoiding
fraud in the quality and quantity of goods, and selecting halal products. However,
obstacles were encountered, such as rising product prices, limited supply of halal
certified products, incomplete product information, and the practice of purchasing
goods on credit with additional charges that potentially contain elements of usury
(riba). This study concludes that the implementation of Islamic economic principles
in traditional markets still requires guidance, distribution support, and awareness
among business actors and consumers to ensure consistent and sustainable
implementation of these principles
