Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of sharia financing, halal exports,
exchange rates and inflation on the performance of the halal food and beverage
sector in Indonesia.
Method: This study uses a quantitative research method using the ARDL
(Autoregressive Distributed Lag) analysis method and the data is analyzed using
the E-views.12 program. The type of data used in the study is secondary data from
Bank Indonesia, BPS and OJK through the official web platforms of the listed
institutions.
Results/findings: The results of the study indicate that the variable of sharia bank
financing has a coefficient of 1.6805 and is significant at a 5% confidence level,
then followed by halal exports -0.001380 and is not significant, and the exchange
rate coefficient is 0.000327 significant with a 5% confidence level then the Inflation
variable coefficient is -0.030800 not significant. Based on the model estimation that
the data has a short-term and long-term relationship. However, for the long term,
seen from the coefficient value cointEg = 0.484523 and prob = 0.0000, which
means that the new long-term model can only be used after < 5 months.
