Determinan UMKM Mensertifikasi Halal Produk Usahanya pada Industri Makanan dan Minuman di Area Jabodetabek
This study aims to determine the determinants of MSMEs certifying halal their
business products in the food and beverage industry in the Jabodetabek area. The
population of this research is MSMEs in the food and beverage industry in the
Jabodetabek area. Sampling was carried out using the minimum criteria from the
SEM-PLS, with a minimum of 100 respondents. The data were obtained using a
questionnaire. This research is a quantitative study. The data were analyzed using
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and processed using Partial Least Square
(PLS) analysis with the SmartPLS 3.0 application. This study found that the
religiosity factor had a positive but not significant effect on the intention of
MSMEs to certify their halal products, the halal understanding factor had a
negative and insignificant effect on the intentions of SMEs to certify their halal
products. The market opportunity factors, exposure to halal certification and
consumers/customers have a positive and significant impact on the intention of
MSMEs to certify their products halal.
