This research will analyze the factors of maqasid al-shariah objectives as they relate to the income and expenditure of the Indonesian population. The study uses a sample from the Indonesian community and is processed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis tools. The results indicate that the preservation of religion (Al-din) has a positive and significant impact on both income and expenditure, emphasizing the importance of religion in financial management. The preservation of wealth (Al-mal) significantly influences income but not expenditure, reflecting a greater focus on spiritual aspects in wealth management. The preservation of intellect (Al-aql) significantly affects income but not expenditure, highlighting the importance of financial planning and education. The preservation of lineage (An-nasl) does not show a significant influence on individual finances, neither on income nor on expenditure, indicating a lack of attention to this aspect. The preservation of life (An-nafs) significantly affects expenditure but not income, showing a greater concern for physical and mental well-being. Overall, income was found to have a significant influence on expenditure, indicating the importance of income management in the financial practices of Muslim individuals in Indonesia.
