"Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables,
namely inflation, the Rupiah exchange rate, BI rate, and money supply on the
Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). The research seeks to provide an empirical
overview of the relationship between these macroeconomic factors and the
performance of the Islamic capital market in Indonesia.
Method: This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary monthly
time series data for the period 2013–2023. Data were obtained from the Central
Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Indonesia Stock Exchange
(IDX). The analysis was conducted through stationarity tests, classical assumption
tests, and multiple linear regression using EViews software.
Findings/Results: The results show that partially, inflation and the BI rate have no
significant effect on ISSI. The Rupiah exchange rate has a significant negative
effect, while the money supply has a significant positive effect on ISSI.
Simultaneously, the four macroeconomic variables significantly affect ISSI with a
coefficient of determination (R²) of 48.6%, while the remaining 51.4% is influence"
