Purpose
:
To determine the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO),
Hedonistic Lifestyle, and Financial Literacy on Personal Financial
Management among social media users in the Jabodetabek region.
Methodology : Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS).
Result
:
The results of this study indicate that the Financial Literacy
variable has a positive and significant influence on Personal
Financial Management. Meanwhile, the Fear of Missing Out
(FoMO) and Hedonistic Lifestyle variables have a negative and
insignificant influence on Personal Financial Management. Thus,
financial literacy is an important factor in improving good financial
management behavior, even though students face lifestyle pressures
and the influence of social media.
