Strategi Optimalisasi Peningkatan Pengumpulan Zakat Infak dan Sedekah Pada Organisasi Pengelola Zakat di Wilayah Bogor: Pendekatan ANP
Goal: The purpose of this study is to develop strategies to optimize the problems
faced by Zakat Management Organizations (OPZ) in the Bogor area in collecting
zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) funds.
Methode: This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques
were conducted through prior studies and reinforced with in-depth interviews with
experts consisting of academics, practitioners, and regulators. Analytic Network
Process (ANP) method was adopted to analyze the data.
Result/Finding: The results of this study indicate that there are three criteria of
problems faced by OPZ in collecting ZIS funds, namely lack of public
understanding, suboptimal governance of zakat institution, and lack of government
support. Lack of public understanding is found as the primary factor in this issue,
with a weight value of 0.360. Each of these criteria consists of four indicators. The
top priority among indicators is the lack of public understanding that paying zakat
through an institution can reduce income tax. There are three important strategies
as highlighted by expert to solve these issues; to optimize the management of zakat
institutions, to provide educational outreach to the public, and to strengthen
regulations on the obligation to pay zakat.
