Penerapan Media Komik Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Syariah Di SMK Negeri 3 Depok
" This study aims to examine the effectiveness of comic media in improving students’ motivation and learning
outcomes in the Islamic Economics subject at SMK Negeri 3 Depok. The research was motivated by the low interest
and engagement of students in understanding the conceptual content of Islamic Economics. A quantitative approach
with an ex post facto design was used. Data were collected through learning motivation questionnaires and
achievement tests administered before and after the implementation of comic media. The Wilcoxon test results
showed a significant improvement in students' motivation and learning outcomes. Furthermore, simple linear
regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence of comic media on both variables. This study is
grounded in a positivist paradigm while also adopting a post-positivist perspective to acknowledge the educational
context. The findings suggest that comic media effectively delivers content in an engaging, contextual, and student-
centered manner, aligning with the Merdeka Curriculum principles of differentiated and meaningful learning. Thus,
comic media can serve as an effective and innovative teaching strategy to enhance student engagement and
academic achievement.
