Jual Beli 'Item Game' sebagai Sumber Pendapatan ditinjau dari Perspektif Islam

This research discusses how Islam views the game Rise of Kingdoms as a
source of income for its players. So that makes researchers have to dissect the legal
origins of playing games, buying and selling transactions, as well as Islamic views
regarding this matter so that they can find out what the law is about income
obtained from these games. The aim of this research is to increase public literacy
regarding Islamic views towards gamers who seek income from buying and selling
RoK game items, so that the public, especially game players, can find out whether
this practice is in accordance with Islamic law or is in fact contradictory. The
method used is qualitative descriptive analytic through observation, interviews and
documentation. The research results show that the law of playing RoK and using it
as a source of income is permitted as long as there are no elements of shirk or other
things that could violate Islamic law. Because if elements are found that violate
sharia, of course the law which was originally permissible can change to become
makruh or even haram.
