Tinjauan Hukum Islam terhadap Praktik Calo Homestay di Wisata Geopark Ciletuh (Ciemas, Sukabumi)

Goal: This study aims to evaluate the practice of homestay brokerage in the
Geopark Ciletuh Tourism. The main focus of this research is to examine the
conformity of these practices with Islamic Law principles, particularly the concept
of samsarah (brokerage) based on Fatwa No. 151/DSN-MUI/VI/2022. This study
also aims to provide recommendations for improving compliance with Sharia
aspects in these homestay brokerage practices.
Methode: This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach.
Data was collected through in-depth interviews with brokers, homestay owners,
and tourists in Ciletuh Geopark. Analysis was conducted by comparing field
practices with Sharia provisions based on Fatwa No. 151/DSN-MUI/VI/2022.
Fact/Finding: The study found several inconsistencies between homestay
brokerage practices in Ciletuh Geopark and Islamic Law principles. Some noncompliant practices include lack of clarity in fee payments and unilateral price
increases by brokers. Nevertheless, most basic practices already fulfill the pillars
of the samsarah contract, although improvements in implementation are still
needed.
