Analisis Efektivitas Penghimpunan Dana Zakat Dari Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) Melalui Sistem Payroll Di Baznas Kota Dumai

Goal : This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of zakat
funds collection after the implementation of salary deduction
through payroll system for civil servants in Dumai City - Riau
Province.
Methode : This research uses mix methods, namely qualitative and
quantitative analysis. The qualitative approach is to collect
data through interviews, documentation and observation.
Meanwhile, the quantitative approach uses the Kruskal
Wallis test, to determine whether differences are smaller or
larger each year in the collection of zakat funds after the
payroll system has been in place for the last 5 years.
Fact/Finding : The Results showed that the collection of zakat funds
through payroll system is effective as zakat funds collected
over the past 5 years namely 2019 - 2023 has increased
significantly. Civil servants are also feeling grateful by this
system. In addition, several challenges in zakat collection
have been highlighted.
