Halal Certification Issues: Bibliometric And Sentiment Analysis
Goal: The main objective of this study is to examine issues on Halal Certificate or Halal
Certification on academic documents and social media.
Methode: This study uses sentiment analysis and bibliometric analysis to process the
data. For sentiment analysis, Indonesia lexicon sentistrength_id used for classification of
tweets data.
Fact/Finding: The development of the halal industry, especially regarding the Halal
Certificate, is well developed. This is indicated by the large number of academic
documents in the Halal Certificate. Halal Certificates have an important role in various
aspects of the halal industry and not only specifically for food. Halal tourism, halal
market, halal logistics, and Islamic marketing are closely related to Halal Certificate.
Among the problems faced in the halal industry is the lack of standardization whether it
is in the halal logistics sector, halal investment, halal tourism, or other halal industrial
sectors. In addition, discussions about Halal Certificates on social media are varied. In
this case, Twitter users have various sentiments towards Halal Certificates which are
dominated by neutral sentiments of 52.8% of the total tweets. While positive sentiment
has a percentage of 28.5% and negative sentiment of 18.7% of the total data.
